Come out to our weekly large group meeting! This week, Gavin Kajikawa will be speaking on “God’s Glory in Our Adoption.” Please come early; we want to start on time!
This week is also Missions Send-Off! Those going on missions this summer will be sharing with us how God has called them to serve in places all around the world this summer and how we can be praying for them.

Campus Prayer Walk

Women’s Ministry would like to invite all AACF-ers to join in prayer-walking around the UCLA campus during the time usually set for women’s prayer meeting. We felt last week during our prayer meeting that God really spoke to us and put a burden on our hearts for the campus! Join us as we pray for salvation the lost, revival for the hearts of believers, guidance for faculty and leadership, spiritual presence on this campus, cleansing from sin and power against things not of God. God is moving on this campus. He is pushing us to step out in faith and trust that His hand is with us!

END-of-the-YEAR BANQUET

It’s time for the annual AACF @ UCLA banquet! This banquet isn’t just a fancy dinner. It’s a time for looking back and reflecting on the joys we’ve been able to share in this year. There will be the always amazing SNL video, the end of the year slideshow, some senior testimonies, and cake! So come enjoy the memories. You’ll get to see everybody dressed up all nice and spiffy too.
This is also a great chance to show the seniors how much you appreciate them by giving some encouraging words and sappy sidenotes. You can do that by writing them senior encouragement notes. Fancy paper will be provided for the next few weeks at large group. Your job is to grab some and write whatever you want to whichever individual seniors you would like. Please turn them in by Thursday of 9th Week.

Men’s and Women’s Workshop: Dating

This workshop is going to be a small setting, with Josh and Carrie Kira from Lighthouse Community Church, to discuss topics of dating and relationships. There will also be a time where the men and women will be separated. The goal of this workshop is to have a safe environment to ask questions, address sin and discuss difficult issues in dating, as well as learning from the wisdom of this godly couple. We would love for you to come, and please come with questions!

Interested in Serving in SNL next year?

SNL, which stands for Salt n’ Light, is a ministry seeking to glorify God through the performance of skits. But much more than just a skit team, SNL functions primarily as a small group where we fellowship through the study of God’s Word, prayer and accountability. Members are committed to attending weekly meetings for bible study and skit planning, as well as skit rehearsals before large group. In addition to skits for large group, SNL may also participate in winter retreat, coffeehouse, big skit, and banquet.

Interested in serving in Ensenada this summer?
This summer (during the week of Aug. 17-21), AACF is sending a team to go to Ensenada with Adventures In Life to serve the local churches in Ensenada. Think about it and pray about it! We’ll let you know more information as the trip starts shaping up!
