Seeker Small Groups

Small Groups

We definitely encourage believers to join a small group. Please talk to Johnston [Email address: johnston.ye ##AT##gmail.com - replace ##AT## with @ ] (if you’re a gentleman) or Connie [Email address: vanconniel ##AT##gmail.com - replace ##AT## with @ ] (if you’re a lady) if you’re interested in small groups. We even have a special small group for seekers, those who are still wondering about what being a Christian means. Discipleship

We also have discipleship pairs.  Underclassman will be paired up with  upperclassmen so that the young’uns can learn from someone who is more mature and experienced in a one-on-one setting. Hope you guys had a good 4 week break! It’s the start of Winter Quarter, and we’ll be continuing our series on the Sermon on the Mount. Cho Yim will be speaking to us on the worries of life, coming from Matthew 6:25-34. Come with an open heart and eager ears! If you live in the dorms, we will be having dorm dinners beforehand at De Neve @ 5:30 PM. If you’re a dorm person and can’t make it to dinner with us, then join us in the De Neve Plaza @ 6:40 and we’ll walk you over to the large group location. As tradition calls, we will be hanging out at Rendezvous afterwards.

Winter Retreat
Day: Saturday- Monday, January 14-16 (Weekend of Week 1, MLK Weekend)
Location: Pine Valley Bible Conference Center, Pine Valley, CA
Cost: $135

Winter Retreat is our first major event of 2012! You can download the registration form here. It’ll be a huge amount of  fellowship, worship, and prayer. And don’t forget all the fun and class bonding that you’re gonna have! Our speaker this year is John Vo, a former pastor of CCAC, and he will be going over the Book of Deuteronomy. The cost includes room and board. Cost is now $135. Last day to register is Monday, December 9 at 5pm! And if you’re worried about it ending on Monday, don’t worry! That Monday is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, so no school anyways!
